Evangeline Lilly got her start in showbiz with help from the acting division of Ford Models. Best recognized as the complicated character Kate on ABC’s hit drama Lost, some people may remember Evangeline from small-screen appearances on Smallville, Tru Calling and Kingdom Hospital, or on the big screen in Freddy vs. Jason (2003).

Evangeline tragically lost her Hawaiian home to a fire in 2006, but the rest of her year was stellar. Firstly, thanks to her continued work on Lost, Evangeline moved up on our Top 99 from No. 45 in 2006 to No. 30 for 2007. FHM also decided to recognize Evangeline, securing her a spot on its 100 Sexiest Women in the World list. And you know you’re a superstar when you have your own doll; Evangeline was turned into a miniature as her action figures for Lost were also released in 2006. To top it all off, she rounded out the year with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Lead Actress in a dramatic television series for her work on Lost.

Evangeline did not win at the Golden Globes, but her career certainly will not suffer as she continues to star on the television phenomenon Lost. As far as her personal life goes, rumors are still running rampant that she and her Lost costar Dominic Monaghan are engaged.
