70 Nicole Scherzinger

At first, Nicole Scherzinger was primarily known for her short-lived stint in Eden’s Crush -- a pop group that emerged from the WB’s talent-search show Popstars. The group had a few hits, including “Get Over Yourself,” which entered the Billboard Top Five, but it wasn’t until Nicole joined The Pussycat Dolls that she became the ultra-sexy superstar that she is today. With ubiquitous songs like “Don’t Cha,” “Sway” and “Buttons” under their svelte belts, The Pussycat Dolls quickly became established as a compelling new act. And with the exotic Scherzinger as the focal point, the group has a recipe for success.

Nicole spent most of 2006 on the road with The Pussycat Dolls, as the group embarked on a worldwide tour opening for Black Eyed Peas. The jaunt took them all over Europe and as far as Malaysia, and when the dust settled they toured the UK with Rihanna as their opening act. Nicole was also in heavy circulation on MTV with the videos for “Beep,” featuring will.i.am and “Buttons,” featuring Snoop Dogg. Nicole also engaged in a few side projects, by making a guest appearances on P. Diddy’s “Come to Me,” a song she cowrote, and Avant’s “Lie About Us.” This is Nicole’s debut on AskMen.com’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women list.

It looks like we’ll have the chance see even more of Nicole’s smoldering body in 2007, as she has already begun recording tracks for her first solo effort. “Steam,” the first single from her self-titled debut, is tentatively scheduled to be released in February, and the disc will feature appearances by heavy-hitters Akon and Timbaland. This is to say nothing of her ongoing work with The Pussycat Dolls, as the group is currently gearing up to release its second album, Double the Trouble, and for a gig as Christina Aguilera’s opening act on her Back to Basics Tour.
