Alena Seredova, 1998’s Miss Czech Republic, has taken her crown and turned it into a stepping stone for greater success. After establishing herself as a model, Alena found her calling in 2002 with a start on an Italian TV show and a few choice movie roles in European comedies. Her romantic life is also on an upswing as she is engaged to world soccer’s best goalkeeper Gianluigi “Gigi” Buffon. Rest assured, however, that Alena can still be seen in high-profile fashion gigs like the 2005 Max Calendar.
Alena Seredova spent most of last year basking in the heat of attention given by men around the world because of her Max Calendar photo shoot. She was also a cover girl and main feature in an issue of Max magazine. Seredova’s diverse interests led her to develop and model her own swimsuit collection. She was also in the spotlight as a prominent member of the WAGs (wives and girlfriends) at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Plans for her marriage to soccer superstar Buffon continue while she further develops her fashion line. Alena Seredova Swimwear is being managed by the Cavalli fashion house, a big name in the business. In between nuptials and bikinis, this Czech goddess continues to find work in magazines, TV and movies.
