60 Fergie

Since Fergie joined the Black Eyed Peas in 2003 as the lead female vocalist, the hip-hop group has known nothing but success. Their infectious radio hits and club anthems, such as “Where Is the Love?,” “Shut Up,” “Hey Mama,” “Let’s Get It Started,” “Pump It,” and “My Humps,” have dominated the charts and the airwaves ever since. With two Grammy Awards and two American Music Awards under their belts, the Peas show no signs of slowing down. In fact, it seems that Fergie is successful at everything she undertakes, as her solo and acting careers are also taking off.

In September, Fergie released her first solo album, The Dutchess, which hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Her first two singles, “London Bridge” and “Fergalicious,” flew up the charts, reaching No. 1 and No. 2 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100. She also appeared in the action film Poseidon alongside Kurt Russell and Emmy Rossum; although it was a flop, the role increased the breadth of Fergie’s accomplishments. The sexy singer’s multiple achievements also helped her make it back onto AskMen.com’s Top 99 Desirable Women list in 2007; although she had been voted No. 89 in 2005, she neglected to rank in 2006.

Fergie -- aka Stacy Ferguson, but don’t call her that unless you’re her mom -- started the year off with a bang. “Fergalicious” set a new record in the first week of 2007 with 295,000 digital copies sold online, making it No. 1 on the Billboard Pop 100. As if that weren’t impressive enough, Fergie is singing at the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash on February 1st. She will also be appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s Grind House alongside Rose McGowan and Josh Brolin. Unfortunately for us, even her love life seems to be running smoothly, as she continues to look blissfully happy with her boyfriend, Las Vegas actor Josh Duhamel.
