Minnillo was Miss Teen USA in 1998 before she moved up the ladder to become host of Total Request Live on MTV in 2003. She has been a perky host for Entertainment Tonight since 2005 and recently became engaged to Jessica Simpson’s ex, Nick Lachey. Before dating the former 98 Degrees singer, she spent a few years with New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter.

Cohosting ET will get you on the radar, but hooking up with Ms. Simpson’s high-profile ex somehow puts you smack-dab in the center of the map. In any case, Vanessa's accomplishments were enough to land her on the Top 99 list for the first time. She was also in Lachey’s music video for the song “What’s Left of Me” and Maxim magazine put her on the cover of the October issue. Lovely Vanessa is also the spokesperson for the Bongo clothing line.

Vanessa is continuing her work on Entertainment Tonight and occasionally on other MTV series. This summer, we can look forward to catching her in the blockbuster sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which is due out in mid-June.
