38 Molly Sims

Molly’s success as Delinda Deline on NBC’s Las Vegas is her biggest accomplishment yet, but we’ve been following her for several years. Born in Murray, Kentucky, in 1973, Molly attended Vanderbilt University with her sights set on a career as an attorney. At the suggestion of her roommate, Molly submitted photos to New York modeling agencies, and NEXT Models saw that she had the right stuff. Her transition to TV came in the late ‘90s when she appeared on the series Mission: Makeover before landing the hosting gig on MTV’s House of Style in 2000. From there, she appeared in additional TV shows and movies like Starsky & Hutch (2004), alongside Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.

Presumably, Molly’s BlackBerry is about to burst. Her schedule has kept her hopping, and that’s a big reason why you voted this four-time Top 99’er to her highest position yet. Besides her regular role on Las Vegas, Molly was in demand for a ton of TV appearances in ‘06, from Ellen to CMT’s Sexiest Southern Women. For once, we can agree with CMT’s programming. This increase in her popularity is no doubt due in part to her appearance in the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, in which she wore a $30 million diamond bikini. She somehow also found time to appear on the big screen in the screwball comedy The Benchwarmers.

Molly is reportedly fresh out of a six-year relationship, but even without a man to worry about, she’ll be very busy this year. She is bi, after all -- bicoastal, that is -- with residences in Los Angeles and New York. In addition to appearing on Las Vegas, she will take on another project set in Sin City, namely the big-screen comedy Venus & Vegas, which is set for release later this year.
